About

Meet Mozart

Mo is a tattoo artist and the owner of Mozart Studio, who formerly worked at Boo Radley in Regina and later at Honeybee Tattoo in Saskatoon. With a passion for art since childhood, she finds purpose in creating tattoos that mark life's moments for clients, from mourning to celebrating milestones. Specializing in florals, her styles range from blackwork to surrealism, aiming to blend personal expression with meaningful artistry in a private studio setting.

Meet Mo

I started my first apprenticeship in the summer of 2019. I had the pleasure of working with the amazing Artists at Boo Radley in Regina, before I moved to Saskatoon in 2021. For my first year living in Saskatoon I had completed my second apprenticeship with Honeybee Tattoo! I spent a wonderful 3 years there and still join them for tattoo expos and events.

At the start of 2024, I decided that it was time for me to branch out and explore a new path in my career. So I opened Mozart Studio! My goal with this venture is to grow as an individual artist while giving my clients the benefit of a private studio.

At first, my love for art and wanting to create a living off of creating inspired me to pursue tattooing as a career. But quickly my inspiration began to stem from the purpose that being a tattoo artist gives me.

Art has always been a very important part of my life. Many of my core memories as a child revolve around art. I believe it is around all of us through life, helping us see the beauty in every moment, good or bad. As a tattoo artist, I believe we are charged with the purpose of creating art that will be carried through life with our clients. It’s extremely fulfilling that I am able to help people grieve when they’ve lost a loved one, celebrate when they hit a milestone in life or express themselves using art. On top of helping others, I get to express myself, meet tons of interesting people and genuinely enjoy going to work every day! When it comes to a lifelong career, I can think of no better way to spend mine than with tattooing.

The styles of tattooing I primarily work with include blackwork, stipple, surrealism and illustrative.

my favorite Subject matters include, Fantasy and anything with an ethereal or baroque twist!

Interests

Outside of tattooing, I am a huge nerd when it comes to anything fantasy-related. From World of Warcraft to The Lord of the Rings, I love it all! Although most of my free time is spent painting or drawing, I also really enjoy reading, and frequently partake in Dungeons and Dragons. And when I’m not doing any of this or working, I’m doing my best to be outside!

Pricing

What's your pricing for tattoos?

I work at a rate of $160+GST/hour with a minimum of $120+GST

Multiple tattoos in one session (when done on the same person) are subject to an added rate per additional tattoo depending on size.

Small tattoos (small symbols such as “;” or “:)”) - $25

Medium tattoos (script or medium-sized symbols) - $50

Anything that will take over an hour will be charged hourly or by piece.

Do you charge an hourly rate or flat rate?

I mostly charge by the hour, but in rare cases, I will charge by piece.

The tattoo will most likely be charged by piece if you are getting a matching tattoo with someone or if it is a flash design.

The reason matching tattoos might be charged by piece is that I tend to work faster on the second tattoo, so charging the first person more than the second wouldn't be fair. The price is determined by the first tattoo.
